They are back. Who? AY Riders band with their newest EP album called Atariders. It contains mainly covers of famous 8-bit Atari songs as well as some original compositions. Go here and listen AY influenced by POKEY.

Oh yeah! Public pressure, organizers di: halt which will take place July 10-11, agreed to hold the beeper music compo. The rules are very simple. No more than two tracks from one author, the length of the track no more than 3 minutes, the track can be written in any musical editor under Beeper. The music is desirable to send in a set with the invoked Basic file (tap / trd / scl image), well, or at least compile music file with the address playback. Shiru (author of Music Box T.E., Music Synth 48K T.E., and Phaser1) and Alone Coder (author of Sewerage and Beep Tracker) have created a blog about 1-bit music.

After a long break I started work again on the site www.zxtunes.com
The first thing that I've done is to completely rewrite the online flash AY player, now it's combined with a track list, so you have the possibility to listen to music in real time and leave comments on any track. As the player has been inserted on the search page, you can search a list of tracks and then either listen to them all or download them as an archive. I think it's very convenient.

Hidden among the spam I spot an email from Yerzmyey pointing me to DWD Records, where you can grab an album of his music, titled "Interphase", along with some other 8-bit artists' work. Check it out, and enjoy some aural pleasure.

The new ubiktune release is out now. It's a music mix by various artists - C-jeff, Riskej, Key-Jee, MmcM, Factor6, Klim and Trommler: As the cold and gray of winter ebbs, the majesty of nature changes inexorably to spring. The change in the environment brought about a lightness in the hearts of our musicians, who got together with their Spectrums to craft you 9 new musical pieces to help you celebrate the return of spring.

Hi, guys!

The concert is over. I must say it was a really insane gig. [posted by YERZMYEY]

And it was big. All the info as well as links to photo galleries, videos even a local radio podcast (in Slovak language) are at AY Riders' website. Thanks to all the people at the concert place for making a perfect atmosphere. And for all the rest, regret you weren't there.

Not so long since our last Prague concert there is a new gig, this time in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. It's taking place on 18.4.2009 in A4 Zero Area club, starting at 8pm. Look at the riders' site for more information, ... and come :)
